Rox Dawson
Rox is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ascend 7. He’s also a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society (SMACS).
With over 30 years of experience digitally transforming organisations, Rox is an expert at optimising people, processes and technology. He has a passion and expertise for solving challenging business problems and designing, building, integrating, and supporting digital systems that are more than just technology.
His specialties include IT / ICT / Digital Strategy development, technology team leadership, digital maturity coaching, agile project management, cloud business systems, eCommerce, product information management (PIM), customer relationship management (CRM), content management (CMS) and document management (DMS) systems.
Michael Wates
Michael is the Founder and Managing Director of MIT. His career spans over 21 years working in the IT industry, during which time he has acquired numerous industry certifications and proficiencies.
Having held key roles working with multinational corporations within the banking and finance industry, Mike leverages from a wealth of commercial management experience and acumen to deliver advisory services and solutions. His vision is to deliver simplified best practice enterprise IT methodology to mid-tier and SMB organisations, and to additionally give back to the community.
Hayden Wade
Hayden is our Business Analyst and Project Manager. He has a Bachelor of Commerce - Finance and Economics Double Major, and a Master of Business Information and Logistics Management with Distinction.
He is skilled in business analytics, consulting and interfacing with clients, problem solving, and business process analysis and re-engineering.
In our recent projects, Hayden has been responsible for:
Leading discovery interviews with employees at all levels to define the current state, including assessing and documenting As-Is processes and evaluating organisations data landscape, key systems and data usage and storage practices
Identifying significant IT challenges within organisations
Preparing and delivering detailed reports with actionable recommendations
Conducting thorough ICT environment analysis
Crafting a target state ICT vision, including strategic direction and roadmap
Producing comprehensive ICT strategy and plan documentation
